I want to make a few clothing recommendations, but ultimately, they’re YOUR photos, so you wear what you are comfortable in and feels like YOU.  I highly recommend taking a look at my Pinterest link below for some color scheme inspiration.

FAMILY DO'S AND DON'TS

DO'S:
-I DO recommend finding a color scheme (check Pinterest-link above) that coordinates neutrals with the themed colors.
-Add in larger patterns or textures for variety.
-You can't go wrong with flowy dresses or button-ups.
-Do one last clean sweep of kids' faces with a wipe right before sessions. I can't tell you how many times I've had to try to edit out a messy face on my own kids, haha.
-DO feel free to message me for suggestions if you feel lost. I'm happy to weigh in on specific questions!

DON'TS:
-I do NOT recommend everyone perfectly matching. Putting everyone in the same color makes family members lose their individuality and get blended together.
-I recommend staying away from small busy patterns. Avoid large logos or graphic shirts. Avoid overly bright, neon colors.
-Do NOT keep cell phones, keys, or other objects in pockets or hair ties on wrists.

 BEST TIPS:

-My favorite tip is to choose what mom is going to wear first, then fill in everyone else with neutrals and textures.
- When in doubt, light-colored neutrals like beige, off-white, white, tan, light denim, and light grey, are always a win!
-DON'T STRESS! A little effort goes a long way. What is really being photographed is the faces, emotions, and connection. Having a good, stress-free experience is more important than perfect clothes.
