Hi, I’m Challis Landon (pronounced like Alice, with a Ch). I’m a Maryland-based family photographer and I’m married with two little kids of my own and one on the way!

Besides my photography experience, I also have several years of nannying experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I have been called a “baby whisperer” on several occasions. I do my best to keep every session light and stress-free so we can capture the natural love & connection between your family.

I'm from Idaho, but have lived in Maryland for four years now and I love it! I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and I love hiking, scuba diving, singing, anything outside, and PHOTOGRAPHY.

-I'm a natural redhead and used to hate my hair, but now love it.
-One of my biggest fears was scuba diving, and my husband talked me into getting certified. I consider overcoming that fear one of my greatest accomplishments! Doing hard things is empowering.
-My unique name comes from a small town named Challis in the mountains of Idaho.

My husband, Taylor, is working on a PhD in Economics. He helps me with some of the finance, technology, and marketing sides of the business and is Super Dad when I'm at sessions.

Olivia (6 years old) says she wants to be a photographer when she grows up and is our resident entertainer. She’s always singing, dancing, or saying “mom, I’m bored, let’s do something fun!”
Ella (2.5 yrs old) has the essential role of keeping me on my toes. She wants to do everything big sister is doing and has the most charming mischievous smile. How can you say no to those dimples?
